IMPLEMENTATION OF TMS/ERP SYSTEMS

OBJETIVE

Implementation of TMS systems. The TMS system (Transport Management System) can be defined as a transportation management system that collects, stores, processes and disposes of information related to all freight transport operations that require a company. It is a software analogous to others that companies also have to manage their different areas, such as those related to the supply chain, warehouses, product information, human resources, accounting and finance, etc. but focused specifically on transportation operations.

Implementation of ERP systems. The ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) system can be defined as a management system that collects, stores, processes and provides information related to one or more of the areas of a company. It is a software, composed of one or several modules related to each other, for the unified management of the different business areas (labor, commercial, purchasing, logistics, production, financial, etc.), providing access to the information of each one in time. real. In that sense, a TMS system can constitute a module within a more complete ERP system.

WHAT IS INCLUDED IN THIS SERVICE

  • TMS/ERP Service:
    - In the case of the TMS service, including the subscription for two years and the necessary hardware, which must include the following functions:
    ○ Geolocation of vehicles (optional).
    ○ Fleet control (control of costs and drivers).
    ○ Integration with the eCMR, the administrative control document in electronic format and the digital signature.
    ○ Second generation intelligent tachograph control.
    - In the case of the ERP service, including the subscription for two years and the necessary hardware, must include modules related to the company's logistics and transportation activities such as:
    ○ Production/Purchasing and sales cycle (tickets, budgets, order management, delivery notes, billing...).
    ○ Document management (invoices, documents, consignment notes, eCMR, administrative control document in electronic format...).
  • Training on the use of the systems, their benefits and the management possibilities and added value derived. Training must define and promote the knowledge bases necessary for the use of the systems continuously over time. Likewise, it must include content related to the coordination of these systems with digital technologies specific to road transport, such as the electronic consignment note, the eCMR, the administrative control document in electronic format and the second generation intelligent tachograph, as well as relating to the regulations associated with these digital technologies (Regulation (EC) 165/2014 relating to tachographs in road transport and its implementing acts, Regulation (EU) 2020/1056 on electronic information relating to the transport of goods, article 222.2 of the ROTT, Order FOM/2861/2012 which regulates the administrative control document required for the performance of public transport of goods by road, Order FOM/1230/2013 which establishes control standards in relation to transport of road travelers, Resolution of February 13, 2020, of the General Directorate of Land Transport, which establishes the characteristics that the administrative control documents in electronic format required in road transport, etc., must meet.
