The logistics sector, which includes, among other services, those related to the transport of goods, continues to grow in 2018. This year there are already twenty more Logistics Parks than in the previous year. This is detailed in the report prepared on this subject by the DBK Sector Observatory.

The DBK Sector Observatory itself indicates and forecasts that Spain will reach the number of 165 operational logistics parks by the end of 2019.

Madrid and Catalonia are the communities that stand out for having a greater number of Logistics Parks in their territory, of which 38 of these parks are in Catalonia and 31 in Madrid. Thus, 13 of the 17 new openings were made in these two communities. However, it should be noted that the Zaragoza Logistics Platform (PLAZA) was located in a 2015 report in the fifth best position of the European Logistics Parks and the first in Spain.

At the end of 2017, there were 152 logistics parks spread over 60 million square meters. These very positive data reflect the rise of the sector that has been largely supported by the rise of e-commerce companies and the application of new technologies in companies, for example, in the transport sector.
